What is Paddle Atlas?

Paddle Atlas is a paddling companion app focused on route discovery, session tracking, and practical on-water information for paddlers.

Is Paddle Atlas live yet?

Paddle Atlas is currently in closed testing. The current plan is to progress toward a Google Play release as the full feature set and launch polish continue.

What does Paddle Atlas track?

During active tracking sessions, Paddle Atlas can record your route, distance, speed, and session stats. Background location is used only while tracking is active.

Does Paddle Atlas use background location?

Yes. Paddle Atlas uses background location during an active paddle session so tracking can continue if the screen is off or the app is minimised. You can stop tracking at any time in the app.

Will Paddle Atlas support iPhone?

Yes, iPhone support is planned. Current work is focused on the live testing and release path, with iPhone development support being prepared in parallel.

How can I help test?

You can register your interest on the Become a paid tester page. We use that list to contact suitable testers when test periods open.
